Kirkpatrick’s “Yes” to Pelosi is a “No” to the District

Ann Kirkpatrick continues to ignore her constituents and has decided to press forward and support Obama’s reckless health care plan. The $940,000,000,000.00 takeover of health care is set to go to vote this weekend, and Rep. Kirkpatrick announced Tuesday that she would conform to the wishes of Democratic Party leaders, union bosses, and insurance company executives. The majority of Americans oppose this bill, and the Congressional Budget Office estimates the plan would cost $940,000,000,000.00, which would amount to the largest expansion of government in over forty years. The burden of the current recession is great, and the citizens of Arizona’s First Congressional District have been especially hard-hit. To spend nearly one-trillion dollars to expand government’s role in our every day lives is far beyond irresponsible. To do so is to act without regard to our Founding Documents and the solvency of America’s financial future.

My campaign has traveled thousands of miles throughout Arizona’s First Congressional District and I have met with thousands of hard-working citizens. The citizens I meet tell me they are honestly concerned about the current course of our nation. They are even more disturbed by the complete lack of respect and response coming from their own

elected officials, especially Rep. Kirkpatrick. Calls to her office either go unanswered or they hear the same lines – all toeing the Democratic Party-line set out by Nancy Pelosi

and President Obama. This process has left the citizens of our district without faith or trust in Kirkpatrick or the Obama administration. I am running for Congress to earn back the trust of “We the People”. The people of Arizona’s First Congressional District deserve honest representation and a commitment to the values found in the United States Constitution.

This week, Ann Kirkpatrick told Nancy Pelosi that she would vote “Yes” on Obama’s healthcare overhaul. In doing so, she is saying “No” to the will of the voters of CD-1, the very people who put her in office. This November, voters will have the final say, and will be able to hand Ann Kirkpatrick her pink slip and elect a representative who will listen to their concerns. I am the candidate who will defend freedom, defend the Constitution, and defend the American Dream.

  1. THIS is interesting today:

The Democrat Party leadership wants the Senators to SIGN AN OATH that they won’t change their vote on Sunday:

As a commentator pointed out: how does THAT square with their oath to uphold the United States Constitution and defend from all enemies foreign and domestic?

“Interesting” as in the curse, “May you live in interesting times.”
