I'd also like to point out that the Indidan Central Bank's purchase of 200 metric tons of gold a month ago, probably got the Administration's attention.

The "fiat fanatics" who have laid our financial structure should see the handwriting on the wall!

You can bet this rather un p.c. topic will be dealt with in after dinner conversations!

Pakistan is under the illusion that their guy Khan is the "Father of the Islamic Bomb" who then publically commented he got most of the necessary info from his European nuclear employment.

So, publically, few people would have come to the realization based on available information that the US was busy arming Pakistan with nuclear weapons to keep India in check. India seems to have been unbelievably, uncharacteristically SILENT on such an important matter, if it was the case.

You are privy to info the rest of the world don't have?

And how does that relate to issues at hand, that India, as democratic US ally, is feeling in danger of being pushed aside for their neighbor and enemy, China, a nation which is NOT an ally of the USA, has invaded India and other countries to expand CHinese borders, and that Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India is speaking as a head of state to the USA urging that the USA should not withdraw from Afghanistan, that any withdrawal plays right into the hands of the terrorists.

Singh came to the USA, not to dine on curry, and admire the "sustainably harvested magnolia" twigs but to have face to face talks about the Afghan and China issues. But the American Poeple are not being informed, just fed frivolities by the media as the Obama Chicago and Hollywood elites stuff their faces with taxpayer-funded luxuries - at a time when national unemployment is 10.2% and rising, 35% amongst African American young men, 15% and rising in regions.
And then they have the nerve to claim the Afghan campaign costs money.

Another perspective from Asia to inform Americans as to the concerns Indians have regarding the Chinese:
http://www.bdsdf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=1270
(Myanmar is the current oppressive regime's name for Burma.)
"This in conjunction with electronic surveillance facilities at the Alexandra Channel in the Andaman sea, Indian military activities in Andaman Nicobar islands and the missile testing activity at Chandipore in Orissa can be monitored effectively by China.

The strategic location of Myanmar as an entry point to the Indian Ocean and the ostracization of this nation by the West since the military take over in 1988 has been taken full advantage of by China to make it virtually “ a China satellite in the Indian Ocean”. China cultivated the military junta from the beginning in supplying military hardware at “friendship” price. Details of the Chinese cooperation extended to Myanmar by way of military hardware, roads and communications, intelligence networks and industrial projects are listed in the appendix to this paper.

The third dimension to this increasing cooperation between China and Myanmar is Pakistan’s active participation in the process with a sinister motive for fomenting trouble in the North Eastern States of India. In this connection Paper 401of 29.01.2002(www. saag.org/papers5/paper 401) by the same author titled “China-Pakistan-Myanmar: The triangular relationship needs careful watch” may be seen.

In December 2001 it came to light that two Pakistani nuclear Scientists (Suleiman Asad and Mohammed Ali Mukhtar) had moved over to Myanmar in November 2001 when US intelligence officials were investigating the involvement of the Pak nuclear scientists with the Al Qaeda network."
