Would love to meet Eric. I’m sure he’s suave, knowledgeable and well spoken. So were many others I’ve met and sometimes voted for over the past four or five decades!

But on our side of the fence, a strange metamorphisis begins to occur in January!!

They wind up emulating the people we’ve thrown out!

Consequently the center shifts left no matter who seizes the brass ring in November, particularly on social issues!

Witness the Arizona GOP Congressional contingent’s stance on Illegal entry over the past two decades (with a couple of exceptions) along with a sizeable Republican support for “sanctuary cities” in the legislature!

Believe me, my judgments have been arrived at over quite a bit of time and “hard knocks” and I’d like to be assured that Eric will “walk the campaign talk walk” if he’s successful in September and November.

Not too many have. For whatever reason, Republicans unlike Democrats, do NOT have the courage of their convictions when the “rubber hits the road”!

Hence, I belive Mr. Wnuck is a horse one should look in the mouth, along with fellow District Five Republican aspirants before receiving meaningful support.

The lesser of two evils routine doesn’t “cut it” for me anymore!

Have you even met the Eric??? You are quick to past judgement. I love that your a pessimist, but some of us in the party do actually feel some obligation to remove a tax and spend democrat like Harry. Sit there and throw your rocks, people like Eric actually have the courage to make the commitment to run and DO SOMETHING about it.

And what if Mr. Wnuck decides to create “one big tent”, reach out and replicate “Dirty Harry’s” voting record?

Unfortunatley, the “run right” govern “left” (with due nods to the CofC and the NARAL gals) plan of action is still all too attractive to many aspiring pols in the party and the hacks who shill for them!

I’d advise that one should take a look at the guy’s campaign staff and donors list before embarking on any crusade!

The last thing District 5 needs is a Lindsay Graham, John McCain “wannabe”!

Oh wait, he went to Washington and the Democrats passed the bill while he was there.

We need less talk and somebody who is actually successful to get the job.
