The tickets are always labeled 11 MPH over! Jack you did not receive a ticket for going 66 in a 55 you were given a ticket for “speed not reasonable and prudent” ARS 28-701-A because they do not truly know how fast you were going. The tickets are always labeled 11 MPH over!

I've been ticketed twice. Both times for going 66 in a 55. And your experience is exactly the kind of thing I hate, where there is a presumption of guilt, rather than innocence. HOWEVER, I find the speed on our freeways to be much more consistent, and I am much more conscious of my speed and I find that traffic seems to be moving more smoothly. I hate it, but I recognize there is at least some benefit to it. I think there needs to be more and better signage. Signs saying Reduced Speed Ahead do nothing to tell me what the speed is reduced to. And, normally, I'm not a Chewie fan, but I'd rather he be posting on stuff like this. I hate photo radar. While the 101 is normal 65 MPH, you yourself pointed out that area has been 55 MPH since February. I would think that if the limit has been 55 for almost 2 months, the limit is regularly 55 MPH not 65. If you're speeding up to 67 MPH within a few hundred feet, you may want to consider slowing down and saving a little gas. Not sure where you got 40% of those getting tickets were appealing them, but it's a nice stat to throw in there anyway.
