Money is not the only thing but this guy is going to need millions of dollars to even compete with McCain who is going to be able to millions at the snap of his fingers.

So while money is not the only thing if you are going to be McCain you need to be able to get on TV if you are going to be anywhere near a serious contender.

Well obviously I don’t speak for you, Iris, but I vote on the issues. I don’t vote on the basis of looks or perceived grievances against a gender.

I will look at the issues I care about (taxes, abortion, immigration, etc.) and will vote with the person who best holds my values. Hopefully, Arizona Republicans, whether male or female, will do likewise. This election is far too important to waste any time on petty concerns.

As this is sure to go down to the wire, one could play spoiler to the other.

An ardent baseball fan, Chris Simcox was fortunate enough to flirt with a professional baseball contract right out of high school. His military father taught Chris about the game and instilled the concept of discipline and work ethic to accomplish goals. His family’s military background is storied, yet Chris decided to take a shot at playing ball. Even after a serious illness, Chris fought back, conditioned and against all odds continued to play semi-pro and adult league baseball including international championship tournaments.

And Johnny, you are right about dough, but unlike others who have run against McCain, Chris has had an audience throughout the US. He is already known. Believe me, he will get lots of money! McCain is despised for what he has done to the entire political process including his’reforms’ and his misrepresentation of voting Republicans in this last run against Obama. Many blame him for Obama’s win. This coming election will be VERY interesting.

My fear is that Simcox is going to be viewed as a 1-issue candidate much like Randy Graf was. Even if that’s the case, I’d much rather claw out my own eyes, slit my wrists, and bleed to death before I’d cast another vote for McLame. If I were in AZ, I’d be voting for Simcox or some other alternative. Too bad the lemmings we call the voting electorate are too blind to see that moderates like McLame have had their chance, they blew it, and they need to be removed from power. Go, Simcox! Moderate Republican candidates = more losses for Republicans like in 2006 and 2008. WAKE UP, Republicans, and remove the moderates from power!

This has nothing to do with tearing down a guy who can change things. He without question is going to have a major up hill battle and senate races are ALL ABOUT MONEY. McCain has a lot of it with lots of friends Simcox is going to have issues competing no matter what. That is just a fact.

His attention is more on national and forgien issues. Not the issues that are effecting Arizonas directly. He doesn’t want to deal or here from the grassroots people because he says they are to far right.

Those on the right are just concerned about the destruction of the constitution, the liberties that are being lost and the representation that doesn’t happend in Washington anymore. What happened to the “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington”. These thing have occuried on who’s watch?

McCain is suppose to be this great mediator in bringing the sides together and finding common ground but that hasn’t happened in this state, just the opposite has happened. With the delegations refussal, lead by McCain, to address the grassroots they have given them validity and a given them a voice. A Voice that is growing.

I would be surprised if Simcox wins, but I firmly believe that it will be good. Hopefully it will cause McCain to campaign in this state, get out and talk with the people, see the issue that they are dealing with.

Having to campaign in this state will be new, something that McCain hasn’t had to do in a long time.

Am I going to support McCain this go around, I don’t know yet? What I do know is that I’m tired of Washington, I’m tired of broken promises. I’m tired of having no representation and I’m tired of elected official who don’t listen to the people.

Fast forward to the General:

Prop 200 had no chance, right? And all the anti-illegal immigrant laws enacted BY THE PEOPLE’S VOTE since then, ‘had no chance’. Funny how both Dems and Reps voted that one in. Illegal immigration is still a great issue to run on. Actually, the so-called Hispanic vote is a tiny percentage ginned up by the people who would like to gain some power by touting it.

With all of the never-ending ’surprises’ of pay-to-play Democrats, the taxpaying lapses of Democrats, the overreaching power plays of Democrats, there would appear to be a comfortable number of both Republicans and Democrats willing to toss any Dem put up to
beat Chris.

There is more, but I will save those arguments for later. And I am taking any bets…hugs.

All you ne’er-do-well’s who participated in the tea parties and anti-government takeover rallies and now you have an opportunity to take action and fix the problem!

Shame on you for tearing down someone who wants to be part of the solution!

John McCain is a symbol of all that this federal government has done wrong to the country. He’s represents the past. Don’t you get it? He is part of the good ol boys who don’t listen to us. He is out of step with the people of Arizona.

Next election I won’t be voting for McCain. His time has come and gone.
