Nathan Notes Debuts

Nathan Notes

A few years back when Sonoran Alliance was just getting started, Nathan Sproul was taking some hits on the blog. At that time, he did try to reply and as a favor I even offered to set him up with his own pseudonym so he could voice his opinions. That was in mid-2006 if I recall.

Well he never took me up on the offer and needless to say, times and people have changed since then.

In my daily review of other blogs, I was quite surprised to see that he now has his own blog. It’s called Nathan Notes and its exclusively his own opinion.

He really should thank me for driving traffic over to him by informing our readers about his blog but that’s OK.

So I finally welcome him to the world of blogging and I wish him the best. Maybe his blog will even become as successful as Sonoran Alliance.

Marana’s “Republican” Mayor Stars in Giffords’ Ad

It happens every election cycle. Some Republican loses his/her bearings and ends up endorsing a liberal Democrat. Grant Woods did it, Joe Arpaio did it and now the Mayor of Marana, Ed Honea, has done it. In the latest campaign ad for Gabrielle Giffords, Honea claims that Giffords can work with anyone.

Keep in mind that this is the same Gabrielle Giffords who brought liberal Nancy Pelosi to Tucson to help her raise money back on March 28th. She also voted for the MoveOn ad condemning General Petraeus before she voted against the ad.

Back to the target. Honea must be looking for something from the freshman congresswoman if he’s willing to go out on the Democrats’ limb. One thing is certain. An elephant never forgets and the voters of Marana will remember Honea’s lapse in judgement long after the election.

Governor tries to shoot holes in Prop 101

Well, it seems the Governor is trying to drum up opposition to Prop 101.

I got a copy of a confidential memo written by the Goldwater Institute (see attached) that debunks the Governor’s lap dog, Andy Gordon.

Mr. Gordon is trying to shoot holes in Prop 101 on behalf of AHCCCS and the Governor.

Voters beware: the democrats are trying to be too sneaky and we need to fight back. confidential-letter

Disgraced former Fannie Mae CEO advising Obama

Franklin Raines was CEO of Fannie Mae from 1999 to 2004. During that time he sucked out 10s of millions of dollars in salary and bonuses. He was sued for overstating earnings and settled in April, 2008. So whom did Barack Obama seek out for economic advice – Franklin Raines. Some change, turning to the same bad actors that got us into this current mess.

Congressman Mitchell not the only one taking tainted money

The little know truth in the mortgage meltdown is that Fannie Mae was not a private company. It was a special Government Chartered Enterprise and in some ways served as an ATM for Democrats. The video above clearly lays out how much Barack Obama benefited from Fannie Mae.

For more on how the Dems used Fannie Mae, read the Wiki article on former Clinton official and one-time CEO of Fannie Mae Franklin Raines.
