Ask any vet or animal control specialist why the majority of dogs and cats are euthanized and they’ll tell you its because they are not wanted.

In Monday’s edition of the Republic, EJ Montini made his annual appeal for a very dangerous bill that would do the same to our sick and elderly. He even had to bring his mother into the column to make the point that his cat got better treatment options. The problem is that Montini, like most liberals, fails to recognize the difference between an animal and a human being.

The good news is that the chairman of the House Health Committee will never let this bill get a hearing.
